Dear Reader,

I said in a previous post that I was considering looking into posting on Royal Road. I’ve since decided that isn’t likely to be the best option for me.

Royal Road requires very consistent upload schedules to gain traction- and honestly I haven’t been very consistent with writing yet. Working on it, obviously, but not where I’d like to be yet. Royal Road also has very specific genre preferences, and the next book I have in line doesn’t match their genre preferences.

Wattpad, on the other hand, isn’t as good with reaching people at scale, especially people interested in writing themselves and giving feedback, but they are a sucker for romance- which is one of the main genres of the novel I’m publishing on Wattpad piece by piece as I work on the next, next book I publish. I’m torn between writing a sequel to the Romance on Wattpad, featuring the main characters kid, or a new novel about parenting a dungeon core, which would be suitable for Royal Road since it’d have a sstem and would be about dungeon design, which has an audience on the platform.

Thank you to the person who signed up for the email newsletter in December! The novel currently being posted on Wattpad is a Portal Fantasy Romance that I was inspired to hurry up and finish because you signed up to hear from those genres. Worry not, I’ll get to a Sci Fi novel soon as well!

I’ll be posting the first book of my new romance series, “You Were My”, on Wattpad and then stubbing it to post on Kindle Unlimited once it’s been up in full for a week or so. Thank you to all my blog readers for all your support! Enjoy your early look at the book.
